Patricia Lanza began her career at the National Geographic Society first as a photo researcher, than as a photography editor, followed by eight years as a contract photographer where she had over 700 pictures published. Assignments have taken her to 48 countries.
She was a consultant for the Annenberg Foundation to develop & research photography programming for the digital age, and wrote The Wallis Annenberg Initiative on Photojournalism. This evolved into her working on the development and build out of the Annenberg Space for Photography, which opened in 2009 in Los Angeles.
Susan Baraz is the Founding Member / Chair Person for Focus on AIDS. (FOA), the largest, global fine art photography benefit. She is the Co-Chair for the Lucie Awards since its inception in 2003 and is the Head of Judges for the International Photography Awards.
